The history of the project One Footsteps in the Czech Republic is relatively young, the idea for it arose sometime at the end of 2019.

It started when I bought a motorcycle again at the end of the summer of 2018 after a long time. The choice fell on the Kawasaki Vulcan S. I rode after work and on weekends. I found a few biker groups on Facebook to sort of fit into the "biker community". I started riding with a group from Prague. But those were trips like stopping every 20 km at a gas station or at a pastry shop - what's more, I don't have anything against snacking, but trips without a destination and with stops longer than the drive itself somehow didn't fill me up. So I started riding alone or with a "backpack" (passenger) in places that interested me in some way. In particular, these were ruins, natural attractions, bridges, viewpoints, quarries, etc.

And since I love taking pictures and the camera has always been my faithful companion, I took pictures of the places I visited and put a few photos on my Facebook profile every time. Then I shared the album in biker groups and was surprised by the positive response and inquiries about the places.

This became the impetus for me to create a Facebook page target="_blank"style="background-color:transparent;color:#242429;">A single track through the Czech Republic, where I add photos and information from the places visited. The site is very popular, and not only among bikers, which makes me very happy and I thank everyone for their support. At the same time, I record all interesting places in Google Maps and provide those interested with a clear picture of interesting locations with a description.

In March 2020, I also founded a Facebook group Trips in one step , where everyone can give their tips for trips. In August 2021, I founded the group Buddies in one track , where you can look for company for trips.

However, the popularity of my posts made me look for a better solution than Facebook - especially for reasons of clarity and search criteria. Therefore, from mid-July 2020, I started working on these pages, which would be able to search for specific places according to the requirements and current location of each motorcyclist.

After many hours of work, countless coffees and several bottles of rum, it was done and on August 7, 2020 I am launching the site!

10px;font-size:14px;line-height:26px;color:#242429;font-family:Helvetica,GlacialIndifference, sans-serif;text-align:justify;">There are lots of travel advice websites out there, some very quality and I draw information from them myself. They are mostly managed by a team of people who use materials from other people and collect them in a uniform form, i.e. they form a thematic database.

This website is unique in that I have visited all the places myself, I am the author of all photos (except additional historical ones) and I add useful information from the biker's point of view, or your experiences and impressions. So you could say that these pages are my travel notebook.

In November 2020, I bought a new Triumph Tiger 1200 machine, unfortunately technical problems and especially the attitude of the Prague service led me to change the brand. In September 2021 I bought a BMW R 1250 GS Adventure and on that occasion I became an ambassador ofthe DyCom Group dealer – BMW Karlovy Vary . Sometimes I am offered a different machine for testing, which I am very happy to use and ride on different types of machines.

In January 2021, I started another Facebook page called Once hitchhiker on the border of the Czech Republic, where I give tips on trips from trips to neighboring countries.
