What can you expect from the TERMINUS Survival Bracelet and what does it contain?
1) Paracord:
The foundation of every 'survival bracelet' is high quality paracord. Of course, there are cheap bracelets on the market for a few tens of crowns, unfortunately made of Chinese imitations, which can cause unpleasant surprises in situations when you would least need it, and may even cost your life.
The TERMINUS bracelet is made of original Czech parachute with a length of up to 4 meters and a load capacity of an incredible 250kg! The same cords are used to make military parachutes that meet strict standards and load tests.
2) Clasp:
Another, absolutely essential gadget is the clasp of the bracelet itself. This is made up of a plastic clasp containing a flint or ,FIRE STEEL'. It is a magnesium rod and a steel blade, which just scrape against each other and suddenly creates a stream of sparks with a temperature of up to 3000°C. The huge advantage is that the flint works even when wet!
The flint buckle also includes a powerful whistle that emits a very intense sound in the tens of decibels, making it audible up to 500 metres away!
3) Wire saw:
In the very heart of the bracelet you will find another ,,treasure'' and that is a wire saw made of 70cm long steel wire. The saw can cut even thicker trees, so building an emergency shelter or preparing firewood will be no obstacle.
You're wondering how you're going to hold the saw when the bracelet doesn't fit the classic rings for gripping it! We've kept that in mind too, and the TERMINUS survival bracelet includes 2 separate pieces of paracord, which you can easily use to make loops for gripping your wire saw as you work.
4) Fishing Kit:
What would it be like to survive in an emergency situation if you had no way to procure food. The TERMINUS survival bracelet contains 5 metres of 4kg fishing line (a decent sized fish) and a fishing hook in the shape of a ,,fly'. The last thing you want in a situation where you're starving is to waste time looking for some bait so you can fish and catch some of that food in the first place. That's why you'll find here a complete fishing kit in the likes of the aforementioned line and hook and fly. You can cut the rod with a wire saw :-) If you are worried that you might get "pricked" by the fly hook while wearing the bracelet, don't worry. The fishing kit, along with the wire saw, is securely looped in the middle of the bracelet's spout. User safety was a priority in the initial design and final construction of the entire survival bracelet.
6) Reflective/signaling tape :
Another interesting feature you will find in the TERMINUS survival bracelet is a 50cm long and 2cm wide, reflective/signaling band that can be easily attached to a headgear or backpack. This gives you a great means of signalling or attracting attention even in low visibility, as reflective tape reflects light, just like road signs by the roadside or the reflective clothing of construction workers, police officers or rescue workers. The reflective/signalling tape is stored together with the fishing kit and wire saw in the centre of the wristband itself.
7) FireCord:
We are nearing the finale and here is the imaginary cherry on top! The part of the bracelet that forms the decorative pattern is made of FireCord'. This is a complete novelty that is Made In USA' and takes this product to the next level!
The center fibers of this ``FireCord'' parachute are made of special fabric infused with a high temperature flammable compound and easy to ignite! An outer nylon fiber wrapper protects the inner knit of this ``FireCord'' and the inner fibers must be removed before use. (Good ``fluffy'' catches on the first twitch of the flint). These qualities make the FireCord' an absolutely reliable firestarter even on rainy days, as the fibers burn even when wet. After careful consideration, this more than useful accessory was chosen as an integral part of the TERMINUS
survival bracelet.
