Testing
Before before going on sale, we test all bracelets primarily on ourselves. This period is long from a few days to several months depending on the chosen style of knitting and the intended use in everyday life.
Use
By unraveling the bracelet, you get one or multiple pieces of multiple parachute cord. The total quantity always depends on the complexity of the pattern, size or method of clasp. Different possible uses are offered by the paracord itself, both in its entirety and after the inner fibres have been pulled out. You can use the braid to make for example shoe laces, the inner fibres to make sewing thread or fishnets. Here you need to be able to improvise and adapt to the situation at hand.
Switching
We use plastic clips on the bracelets, from simple to more complex with different functions - for example, compass, whistle, small knife, LED light, flint, etc. The decorative bracelets then most often have metallic sections in the shape of animal heads. Another metal metal beads of various shapes and sizes are used as clasps.
Materials
We prefer to work with bronze, brass, stainless steel or silver. At some point in time other less common materials such as gold, platinum, titanium and others will come up. If there is price pressure, then we also have to work with different alloys of metals.
Paracord
We use paracord fairly made in the Czech Republic. Manufacturer follows published Military Standard MIL-C-5040H standards and performs its own stress tests. Their trapping cord exceeds the requirements of this standard in terms of strength, achieving a strength of 2.8-3.0 kN instead of the required 550 lb (approx. 250 kg). This corresponds to a load of approximately 280 - 300 kg.
